Tony scoring a TD in the 73 playoff game

I was putting a website with my favorite Ram players of all-time. Tony Baker is one of them. My favorite Ram season was and always will be 1973. The Rams traded Roman Gabriel for Harold Jackson and Tony Baker before the start of the 1973 season. Tony was just a throw-in as the media reported it. It was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Rams. But, they went 12-2 and were the new NFL monsters. That "throw-in" only led the Ram running backs in TD's (7). Tony was a breathe of fresh air. The Herald Examiner always had his thoughts in their paper. He was relentless inside the 3 yard line. I loved his playing style, one tough dude. And he came within 6 inches of a Super Bowl ring in 1974. I think these words fit Tony's life and football career perfectly. LISTEN God Bless the Baker Family.
